What's included

Each month, two things

Practical health education

A new topic each month: a short online lesson with practical tools and a reflection, done on your own time.

Recent topics have included Manage Your Mind, How to Stop Eating Your Feelings, Your Future Self and Creating a Food Protocol.

A monthly group session

A live, online small-group psychotherapy session led by a registered psychotherapist, at a regular time you choose. With rolling enrolment, you'll see familiar faces and welcome new ones.

Clinical care, kept confidential.

Join any month, continue month to month, and leave at any time.

The Thrive Approach

It starts with your mind

Most health advice tells you what to do. The hard part is doing it, especially when you're already exhausted.

Thrive uses tools drawn from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to help you understand the thoughts and emotions behind your habits. From there, changes to eating, exercise, sleep and stress management become easier to make, and to keep.

Many educators come to Thrive wanting more energy, less stress or to reach a healthy weight. Thrive helps you work toward the changes that matter to you.

Coverage

Covered by most Ontario teachers' extended health benefits plans

Your monthly group session is billed at a standard psychotherapy rate. Your lessons and tools are included, and registration is free.

For Ontario teachers and educational assistants with extended health benefits.
